Who is Dr Corlu?

M. Sencer Corlu, PhD (Texas A&M University), is an associate professor of mathematics education and the director of BAUSTEM Center at Bahçeşehir University, İstanbul-Turkey. Dr Corlu was a faculty member at the Graduate School of Education, Bilkent University between 2012 and 2016. Prior to that, he had worked as a school teacher at International Baccalaureate schools in Africa and Europe, teaching middle and high school mathematics, science, and technology (ICT) classes. Dr Corlu has published over 40 articles on mathematics teacher education, STEM education, and international schools. He is the principal investigator of externally-funded Integrated Teaching Project (http://inteach.org) and serves as the editor of two book series on STEM education for K12 students.

Sencer Hoca kimdir?

Doç Dr M. Sencer Çorlu, Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi Öğretmen Mesleki Gelişim, Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi (BAUSTEM) Müdürü ve Eğitim Bilimleri Fakültesinde öğretim üyesidir. Hüseyin Avni Sözen Anadolu Lisesi ve Boğaziçi Üniversitesi matematik öğretmenliği bölümünü bitirdikten sonra matematik, fen bilgisi (life science & earth science) ve bilişim teknolojileri öğretmenliği yapmıştır. Doktorasını tamamladığı Texas A&M Aggie STEM Center bünyesinde öğretmen eğitimi programları geliştirmiş ve yönetmiştir. Sonrasında Bilkent Üniversitesi Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsü'nde 2012-2016 yılları arasında görev yapmış ve Türkiye'nin önde gelen özel okullarında görev yapan bir çok matematik öğretmeninin yetiştirilmesine katkıda bulunmuştur.
